CITY OF SANTA CLARA, PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSIONER

I am serving as a commissioner to introduce edible landscapes to the city parks and more community garden areas for residents. I believe that having accesses to food you grow yourself gives a whole new appreciation for farming/ag science, healthy eating, and outdoor hobbies.

SCIENCE TO POLICY PROGRAM

The Science to Policy, s2p.ucr.edu, program was created to give students hands-on experience in communicating their research to elected officials. I help start this program and create workshops as the Chair and cabinet member for the organization.

PIANO TEACHER

I provide free piano lessons to two neighborhood kids interested in learning piano.
